To jump start a vehicle with jumper cables begin with both cars off (and one will already be off because it’s dead) then follow these 7 steps: step 1 red on dead (so red on the dead car battery and red is positive (+)), step 2 red on donor (so red on the donor car battery and red is positive (+)), step 3 black on donor (so black on the donor car battery and black is negative (-)), step 4 black on the bare metal of the dead car, step 5 start donor car, step 6 start dead car, and then step 7 remove jumper cables going backwards steps 4-1.

Please note there is in issue with these where they don’t always want to say the right day of the week when they are set for the right numeric date for some years (so that might not work right for this year) so please only buy if you are OK with this issue but the clock function and thermometer functions seem to always work fine. Also, the ones in stock are all the latest version so the battery is no longer included but there still is a tab that you pull to activate it and they no longer have a removable plastic film over the display and no longer come in a box, the boxes used to read: “Desk clock. The nice thing about this type of alarm clock over one that plugs into your wall is even if there’s a power outage this alarm clock will still wake you up because with an alarm clock that plugs into your wall the power only needs to go out for literally just 2 seconds to wipe out the alarm time that you programmed into it, which could prove disastrous if there was somewhere important that you had to be. Also this type of alarm clock is also more compact, lightweight, and portable. The alarm clock function plays a little jingle and while the alarm clock function works great it is not blaring loud so if you are one of those people that needs a blaring alarm clock to wake up and want to use the clock as an alarm clock another type might be better but if you are one of those people that doesn’t need a blaring alarm clock to wake up then this would be a good clock to use as an alarm clock because since it’s not blaring will not startle you so much.

4 Function Radio Controlled Car (NEW in can) $19

The car is about the same size as a Hot Wheels or Matchbox car but is a 4 function radio controlled car! Radio controlled as in wireless control! It will not only run on hardwood or linoleum floors but on carpet as well! The four functions are left, right, forward and reverse. There is a thing under the car to adjust how much it turns to the right or the left and the default is set right in the middle. If you turn it all the way to the right or left and hold down forward the car will go in circles the direction you moved the thing to but there are increments so it doesn’t have to be all the way to the right or left. It comes with 4 little plastic traffic cones (not shown in the picture but they are in the can along with everything else it comes with and the can is the size of a 12 ouch soda can) that can be used to set up a little racetrack or you can deliberately try to have the car bump into them and knock them over. It also comes with an instruction manual. There are headlights and taillights that light up but while both headlights do light up only 1 tail light really lights up, it’s not defective they just are all like that. There’s a cable that comes out the remote to charge the car with and the car comes with a built-in rechargeable battery already installed. There are little Philips screws under the car and under the remote if you wanted to take them apart as a science project and the eyeglass repair kit we sell separately comes with a little Philips screwdriver that will work for these screws. There is a slot on the remote that you can slide the car onto so it can store in 1 piece and the car comes stored this way in the can. The remote antenna telescopes out but if you are only 10 or 15 feet from the car you don’t have to extend the antenna out to get a good signal. The antenna unscrews if you want the remote more compact and comes unscrewed so that the remote can fit in the can. The remote takes 2 AA batteries (not included). The can is red and the car is red, white, and blue but we can get other color cans and cars.

Some of the reptile hideaways on the market that while functional look kind of boring which makes me feel like an opportunity was missed to have neat decor, but with this hideaway you can have functionality and neat looking decor both at the same time.
